Project Manager based in Connecticut. Bringing agile know-how and fostering collaboration.

Intro

If you’re here that probably means you want to get to know me and that’s what this section is all about! I’m a competitive soul who lives for a challenge. Regional golf tournaments, online sim racing, short distance running, and friendly soccer matches. Relaxing with the family by taking a long hike or going on a boat day. I recently started building my own keyboards expanding my PC building hobby.

I like to stay busy, especially at work. I think that is why I am drawn to project & program management. Constantly collaborating with stake holders to deliver the next big thing. With a professional history of working on massive user facing apps I am no stranger to pressure and the need to accurately juggle multiple priorities. Interested in learning more? Reach out! Professional Experience

Shudder

Shudder is a streaming service for the most hardcore horror fans and their passion drives mine. I have contributed to every part of this project from defining content deliverables, driving testing strategies, and hands-on feature development for the React front-end (web, iOS, Android). Collaborating with product & marketing teams to constantly improve the user experience.

Shudder Blog

A large scale project built on newly redesigned Shudder 2.0 web stack. A new way to reach fans. Discussing production progress, the hottest horror, and scary bites of horror history. Built off a react platform and utilizing the Wordpress API allowing for the performance boosts of custom architecture while maintaining the ease of use of the Wordpress UI for the blogs contributors.

SundanceNow

Sundance Now is the sister service to Shudder. Made for the fans of true crime and gripping dramas the service originally started out showcasing some of the circuits best documentaries and still boasts a large collection. Like Shudder, I have had the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of this project, including the mobile and living room devices.

KMW Technology

My latest work comes as a project manager for search, AI, and big data projects. Consulting with companies that range from e-commerce, business analytics, and pharmaceutical research. I lead a variety of team sizes sculpted to our clients specific needs and budget.

Special focus on streaming applications, processing at scale, and cloud infrastructure.  Expertise in team management, project communications and delivering value to customers.

BH Compiler

Made using vanilla javascript for a sudo-javascript language this project was an exercise designed to push my current understanding.

Sudo language - https://www.labouseur.com/courses/compilers/grammar.pdf

The BH Compiler is broken up into 5 parts:

  1. Lexer - Converts input into a token array

  2. Parser - Confirms correct language to generate trees

  3. Concrete syntax tree - Full tree of items in the array

  4. Abstract syntax tree - Condensed tree of core items from the CST

  5. Scope check - Checks that code is in an appropriate order

  6. Code generation - Converts the source code into machine code
